**** MUST READ! MUST READ! MUST READ! ****

Hi Riders! The 2024 Z2 Track Days Season Closer event is almost here and we’ve been looking forward to this event all year. This is the first time in Z2’s nearly 25 year history that we’ve been able to offer you an event like this. We’ve been working hard with Sonoma track management on logistics and details and we’re ready to pull it off. Because of a large event the weekend after ours, the entire Sonoma paddock will be closed to us so WE’RE GOING OLD SCHOOL!

Everyone will pit, camp and chill along the hot pit and on the outside of turn 11 (yes, there will be runoff and tire barriers on the outside of turn 11). If you’ve been to a Wednesday Night Drags event, we’ll be utilizing that same area. This will be a completely unique opportunity for everyone to experience a Sonoma event from a different perspective, but we’ll need your cooperation and your flexibility. Here are some CRITICAL details that you need to know:

– CAMPING: If you intend to camp at the track starting on Sunday night, access will begin at 7:30pm. If you arrive before 7:30pm on Sunday, you’ll stage in the Lot 2 area up the hill. If you arrive after 10:00pm, you will only be able to camp in Lot 2 and you’ll have to wait until the morning to come down and find your pit. This will be true for Monday night as well. In short: if you want to camp where your pit will be, you must arrive before 10:00pm.

– TWO DAY PARKING: When you arrive, whether it’s the evening before or the day of your event, the Z2 Staff will be directing you toward your parking area. Here’s where we’ll really need you to be flexible and patient. In general, if you’re staying for both days and camping, you’ll most likely be directed to park along the hot pit on either side of the k-wall from near the gas station all the way up toward start/finish.

– SINGLE DAY PARKING: If you are only staying for the day, you’ll be directed to park toward turn 11. In either case, if you want to pit next to your friends, please arrive at the same time because it will be very difficult (or impossible) to save spaces for folks who haven’t arrived yet.

– You may set up your pit in Lot 2 up the hill if you’d like but the biggest issue with that is the lack of PA. You’ll need to keep track of the schedule yourself since you won’t be able to hear any announcements.

– BATHROOMS: The regular bathrooms by the media center won’t be available during the day but they will open after the track goes cold. During the day you’ll be able to use the bathrooms inside the cafe or porta potties in the turn 11 area.

– NOVICE RIDERS: Your rider’s meeting and classroom sessions will be held in the patio area in front of the cafe.

MORE IMPORTANT NOTES:

– Mandatory rider’s meeting for A and C starts at 8:00. B group meeting starts at 8:30. A and B will be by start/finish and C will be by the cafe. Please arrive at the track by 7am the latest if you’re not camping. Traffic is very heavy near the track so give yourself plenty of extra time on the morning of your event.
– You must have personal medical insurance in order to ride with Z2 Track Days.
– Camping WILL be available Sunday and Monday night. You must arrive by 10:00pm if you want to camp where you pit. Otherwise, you’ll camp in Lot 2. No entry down into the pit area after 10:00pm.
– There are no garages available for this event so bring your canopy and generator if you need power.

– IF YOU ARE A MINOR (UNDER 18 YEARS OLD), YOU MUST HAVE BOTH PARENTS SIGN THE MINOR WAIVER! You can download the waiver here: https://z2trackdays.com/wp-content/uploads/Z2_minor.pdf. If both parents don’t sign, you will not be able to ride.
